SPOT Grants
With the SPOT subsidies, Stroom contributes to the costs of solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, as well as the costs of documentation and promotional material. The purpose of this subsidy is to increase the visibility of artists from The Hague. Subsidies can be applied for by individuals (artists, studio owners) and organizations (artist initiatives, collectives). Applications are assessed on formal criteria and can be submitted throughout the year, as long as the subsidy ceiling has not been reached. There are three different SPOT subsidies: Documentation, Individual exhibition and Group exhibition.

General terms and conditions
The most important general condition is that artists from The Hague update their visual material and CV on www.haagsedieren.nl prior to the application. SPOT requests will only be processed if these requirements have been met.
Within Stroom's subsidy scheme, one can only receive one subsidy for the same proposal.
You cannot submit an application to PRO and SPOT for the same proposal at the same time.
Applications for exhibitions already in progress, exhibitions and presentations organized by Dutch museums or government and design fairs/exhibitions will not be processed.
Applications will only be processed if
- meet the conditions set;
- have been received within the set delivery date;
- be complete.

Applications for SPOT subsidies can only be submitted digitally throughout the year via: spotsubsidies@stroom.nl
SPOT subsidy budget
The available budget is divided over the four annual quarters. If the quarterly maximum of the subsidy budget has been reached, no more applications can be submitted for that quarter. This is indicated on the Stroom website.
