Financial arrangements
Stroom supports The Hague artists through three financial grants: PRO grants, SPOT grants and OBJECT grants.
The goals of the grants are to increase the visibility of art and artists in The Hague and to strengthen the art climate in The Hague, in particular by encouraging development, research and experiment. The underlying criterion in the assessment of applications is always the (contribution to) improvement and reinforcement of The Hague's art climate, or ‘the relevance for The Hague’.

On 15 April, we will launch a new digital system that allows you to easily submit an application online for one of these programs.
To make the processing of the many applications faster and more efficient, you will soon be able to submit your application directly via a digital portal on our website.

Until Sunday 6 April, you can still submit applications the 'old' way, via email.
From 7 April to 14 April, there will be a submission stop, and no applications will be processed.
Starting Tuesday, 15 April, you will only be able to submit applications through the new portal on the Stroom website.
Walk-in Hours
To ensure a smooth transition to the new system, we will organize three walk-in hours at Stroom on 23 April, 7 May, and 21 May 2025, from 16:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs. During these sessions, we will explain how the system works and there will be plenty of space for artists to ask questions.
