Publication accompanying the exhibtion as part of the H+F Curatorial Grant 2007/08, a collaboration between FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais, H+F Collection, De Appel, Amsterdam, and the Jan van Eyck Academy, Maastricht. On May 29 2008, “decollecting 1” opened at FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais in Dunkirk (FR), the first of two exhibitions that were part of the “Decollecting” project. In 2007, Annette Schemmel won the first H+F Curatorial Grant with this project, which focused on “collecting” as a cultural practice. The exhibition, featuring works by Paul Huf, Joseph Kosuth, Sands Murray-Wassink, Koen Theys, and Barbara Visser, was on view through June 28 2008.
