Edible Park: Symposium and opening

The symposium is intended for professionals in the fields of urban design, green spaces, and sustainability. Please indicate your role/title when registering. A maximum of 75 seats are available.
Followed by the opening of the Edible Park Pavilion (5:30 PM) by Alderman Rabin Baldewsingh

Edible Park Symposium
The symposium marks the official opening of the ‘Edible Park’ project by English artist Nils Norman. His design consists of two large permaculture vegetable gardens and a sustainable pavilion made of straw, wood, and clay in Zuiderpark, The Hague. The symposium will focus on the question of how a design methodology like permaculture can contribute to an ecological and socially healthy city.
Speakers at the symposium include:
Nils Norman, Jan Jongert (2012Architecten), Annechien Meier, Ir. Fransje de Waard, Thomas Rau (Rau Architects). The moderator is Aukje van Roessel.

From Hollands Spoor Station: Tram 11 to Monstersestraat, then transfer to RR 4 (Randstad Rail, direction Uithof), get off at Dedemsvaartweg/Meppelweg.
From Central Station: RR 4 (direction Uithof), get off at Dedemsvaartweg/Meppelweg.
To Zuiderpark
From Hollands Spoor Station: Tram 11 or 12, get off at Hobbemaplein, then transfer to bus 25 towards Vrederust, get off at Zuiderpark.
From Central Station: Tram 6 (direction Leyenburg), get off at Hobbemaplein, then transfer to bus 25 towards Vrederust, get off at Zuiderpark.
The garden is located on the grounds of City Farm De Herweijerhoeve (Zuiderpark, entrance Vreeswijkstraat), Anna Polakweg 7, The Hague. Walk through the entrance and go to the back (over 200 meters). There is also an entrance on Vreeswijkstraat near the gas station.
