Regine Schumann, 2008

Location: Wateringseveld College, Missouri 1, The Hague

In the central hall, Regine Schumann created a wall installation of flying saucers; 48 coloured perspex ovals illuminated by black light. A horizontal or vertical LED line was installed at four spots near the large windows of the school building, in different colours, with a strong appearance to the outside. The illuminating green, red, orange and blue give the building a mysterious character of its own and refer to the greenhouses, which play a major role in the history of the area and in the architects' design.
