Ubistic Line 1 by Martin Sjardijn consists of a satellite dish on the roof, a computer/receiver in the library and monitor in the hall with meteorological images of Europe and Africa. With the installation of telecommunications equipment, Martin Sjardijn arranged in the school to receive changing meteorological images of coastlines, rivers and mountain ridges in Europe and Africa. Every five minutes these images are interrupted by an animated work by Sjardijn, the “Sculpture for Extraterrestrial Space. In it, geometric constructions move according to a certain choreography.
