Janice McNab – In the Galaxy Ballroom, my time with Hilma af Klint

The new publication by Janice McNab has recently been released. In her work, she explores how the creative and political efforts of women in early 1900s Sweden contributed to the creation of Hilma af Klint's artwork The Ten Largest. Personal stories and images provide insight into the history and demonstrate how this work remains relevant today and continues to influence McNab's own paintings. The book is available in the Stroom bookstore. This project has been supported by a PRO Kunstproject grant.
