The basic plan for the two courtyards includes several robust, movable seating objects that can be used in various ways. The material is durable, allowing for carving (and even encouraging it). The arrangement of the objects divides the courtyard into different "territories," which is important for the space's function as a gathering area. The objects can be moved to serve different purposes: for example, as a stage for performances or fashion shows, as tables for a dinner or flea market, or as seating for a film screening.
