Sara Nygård over Fingerfärdighetens(dexterity) residens:

I will go to Sweden for a weeklong residency for artists working from hand-based skillsets. The workspace will be on an architectural raft in the local canal that runs through the municipality of Dals Långed. I will facilitate the creation of a finger-knitted installation, made collectively on site with local crafts community and/or art students. The project aims to align with, and exhibit, the rafts function of offering a space on the water for exchange through cultural gatherings.
