This book documents the public art projects and the exhibition in marke.6, Neues Museum, Weimar. Within the framework of the project Citymap, 21 art students from 13 countries developed temporary projects based on the theme of 'Art and Commemoration'. Intensive research in Weimar's City Archive , the archive of the Stasi records administration in Erfurt, and locally in the public space formed the basis on which each student examined the city and its complex history.
