Krijn Giezen - The Haagse Beek, Stream, Source and Mouth

Various locations in Scheveningen and The Hague

In 1992, Giezen made an analysis of the Haagse Beek which flows from the dunes (Kijkduin) via the Vredespaleis further underground to the Hofvijver. In the course of history, its path seems to have been changed, reconstructed and polluted. He asked his colleagues Remko Scha, herman de vries and Ian Hamilton Finlay to find inspiration in those aspects of the Haagse Beek.
