Stroom KABK Invest Program

Supporting graduates from Royal Academy of Art The Hague (KABK)

Stroom wants to scout talent, give them support and keep them in the city of The Hague. Since many years Stroom organizes a special program for a select group of graduates from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK). It is aimed at their artistic development, quality improvement, self-development and the broadening and strengthening of their professional artistic practice. In 2022, we further developed the program and renamed it: the Stroom Young Talent Award.

Stroom KABK Invest 2019

Zahar Bondar (Bachelor Fine Arts), Eliza Reszka, (Bachelor Fine Arts), Alex Avgud (Bachelor Photography), Victoria Chaushyan (Bachelor Photography).

Alex Avgud and Victoria Chaushyan will receive professional guidance for a year from Manon Bovenkerk; Zahar Bondar and Eliza Reszka from artist Hans van der Ham.

Stroom KABK Invest 2018

Jonathan Hielkema (Bachelor Photography); Quentley Barbara (Bachelor Fine Arts); Jihyun Baek (Bachelor Fine Arts) en Leonie Schneider (Bachelor Fine Arts). They will receive professional guidance from the artists Femmy Otten and Nadine Stijns.

Stroom KABK Invest 2016
Doris Hardeman, Bas Kaufmann, Tobias Lengkeek, Suzie van Staaveren. They will receive professional guidance from the artist Rachel Bacon.

Stroom KABK Invest 2015
Jeannette Slütter, Yara van der Velden, Max de Waard, Micky Yang. They received professional guidance from the artist Risk Hazekamp.

Stroom KABK Invest 2014
Rixt de Boer, Vincent Both, Steef Crombach en Jordan Herregraven. They received professional guidance from the artist Joost Nieuwenburg.

Stroom KABK Invest 2013
Yair Callender, Maurice van Es, Eric Peter en Winnie Plas. They received professional guidance from the artist Marius Lut.

Stroom KABK Invest 2012
Maarten Boekweit, Lisanne Hoogerwerf, Guido van der Linden, Puck Verkade. They received professional guidance from artist Roos van Put (at the time editor-in-chief of Kunstbeeld) and the artist Martijn van Boven.
