KapteinRoodnat (restored version 2012)

OBS De Drentse Hoek, Oosterhesselenstraat 586, The Hague

In 2006 the duo of KapteinRoodnat (Marleen Kaptein and Stijn Roodnat) installed an art work consisting of several hundred meters of bright green tubes at elementary school De Paradijsvogel, occupying the schoolyard and the assembly hall. The work is inspired by Jacques Tati's 'Mon Oncle'.

In 2012 the work was transferred to elementary school OBS De Drentse Hoek in The Hague, after being restored and painted in a different colour green.
