Elementary school Onze Wereld Brandtstraat, Den Haag

A two-dimensional globe and a big chair in the central courtyard with 24 flags which underline the multi-cultural nature of the school

At this elementary school, there are 500 students coming from 25 different nationalities. In the interior courtyard between the old and new buildings, Rahman placed a big chair and incorporated 24 flags in the seat. The curved arms of the chair refer to the large oval disc (made of ceramics) on the wall showing the continents and oceans.
