Closing event of the exhibition The Congo Tribunal. With two screenings of the documentary The Congo Tribunal, a Q&A with Milo Rau and various guests including Sofia Stolk, (researcher in International Law at Asser Institute and programmer of the Camera Justitia program of the Movies That Matter Festival), Sven Lütticken (art historian and critic, who did research into the recent history of tribunals in and as art projects), Ewout Irrgang (member of the Netherlands Court of Audit, before that working for the PharmAccess Foundation in Tanzania and a member of the Dutch Parliament on behalf of the Socialist Party) and Alphonse Muambi (writer, critical journalist and lobbyist from DR
Congo. He writes essays for newspapers like Trouw and is the author of the book Democratie kun je niet eten).
Also a presentation of posters made during the workshop Where Politics Fail, Maybe Posters Can Help that will be organized on Friday 6 April by the CoP (Community of Practice). More information in the facebook event of the workshop >> click here.
Later in the year the posters were also displayed at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut i.c.w. the program International Law in the Picture: images, advocacy and stardust of justice (9 - 13 July 2018).
