Dan Graham
temporarily in storage
Dan Graham (1942, New York) is the last in a series of
artists who were invited to design a unit for the Fiets&Stal
project. In the 1960s he introduced architecture into modern art and
became fascinated by the reflective quality of shop windows. He used
the special qualities of glass and its mirror effects in many of his
pavillions, which can bee seen as both sculpture and architecture.
His very special Fiets&Stal guard unit is marked by a intricate play of seeing and being seen.
