Zefir7 is the Monthly Designers Café at Stroom Den Haag i.c.w. BNO Kring Groot Den Haag.
Lyrical designer, draughtsman, graphic artist and typographer Dennis Koot will talk about 'Extravert introspection'. Current presentations by Koot are I'll Stay By Your Side Anyway in De Affiche Galerij (with catalogue) and a contribution to the exhibition by artist Philip Akkerman in Torch (he made 5 'graphic frames' around five of Akkerman's paintings.Dennis Koot studied at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague (KABK) and after his graduation was immediately hired by Studio Dumbar. He next started his own design bureau Dennis Koot Graphic Design and teaches at the Willem de Kooning Academie (WDKA) in Rotterdam. Every year he organizes poster projects with art academy students, including an annual presentation in De Affiche Galerij.
