As part of Uncertainty Seminars: Shadows of Tomorrow, the workshop Three acts of straying and other amorphous vibrations will be led by the writer, curator and educator Ioanna Gerakidi.

This workshop will rotate around the axes of reaching the impossible, when the impossible turns into a vessel for subverting the dominant archives, for rearranging the nexuses of power and for staying with otherness. It will focus on not yet documented or transcribed histories, on bio-fictions, on memories and mnemonic representations.

The participants are invited to a series of close readings of poetic and non-poetic schemes; of linear and non-linear sonic observations; of methods of becoming through an elsewhere and otherwise. The workshop will also include writing and performative reading exercises aiming on longing and belonging within other sociabilities. The reading, sound and optic references will be sent in advance. The participants are free to select the ones they want to engage with and to bring an object (haptic or non haptic) along, which will be used as a starting point for the exercises.
